2013 Volvo S60 Review

The unique S60 T6 AWD we forced back truly was a car of two sections. The sleek generate, uncompromising inner fantastic and relaxed sitting provided this saloon a significant thumbs up, but the deficiency of performance and overall steel for the cost was a certain painful point.

Volvo has at least tried to fix one of those issues by providing clients a Polestar ECU update. At £660 it’s not inexpensive, but Volvo says using the automobile's inner software can improve horse power from 304hp to 325hp and improve twisting to 355lb ft.

There’s certainly more power from the 3.0-litre six and more improve from the turbo compressor but the whole car is still affected by the gear box.

Problems from the unique design are not resolved either: the guiding still has very little sensation from the street and the low-speed generate is very company.

There are good factors, however, and as you would anticipate from Volvo relaxation is critical. Completely flexible set chairs and a multiple function leader make the T6 a soothing generate. Travelers enjoy fantastic back legroom, too, and the inner fantastic is remarkable.

The update does not impact pollutants either, and on our analyze run we still averaged 27mpg.
The T6 still seems out of place in the fantastic saloon market and thanks to the Polestar update the cost drops well over the £40,000 level. Considering that competitors such as the BMW 330d cost significantly less, and can offer approximately the same performance, I believe our unique judgment continues to be reputable.

Volvo S60 T5 specialist is also able of acting with a bit of pride as well. Keep the shifter in the regular D-for-Drive place and the gear box will act the way you'd anticipate a top quality midsize sedan's slush box to. The changes come earlier to keep the rpm down and the gas mileage up and occur more efficiently for a more relaxed generate. Our S60 T5's revocation provided a excellent stability of flexibility, for taking in lumps and street blemishes, and hardness, so it doesn't experience willowy around turns, floaty, or unexplained. There are even three user-selectable energy guiding configurations that allow the car owner to modify the guiding experience from heavy and immediate to mild and simple.

We think and hope that Volvo S60 will be great for us with all its specifications and beauty.
